I am an American artist of Tennessee, Maine, Florida and New Mexico, now residing in Austin, Texas.

The majority of my work, although varied, reflects a layering, in medium or concept, of both experiences and dreams. The process of layering, covering and revealing, is therapeutic to me and mimics the changing perspectives I acquired through a life of constant shifting from one me, family, or location to another. The results may be of unrest or humorous, yet I always hope to convey a wholeness that occurs when mere moments and a lifetime are combined.

I am also a muralist available for commission. Please contact info@jlowrydoyle.com with comments or inquiries.
